Applications
All of our storage containers are constructed to ISO (International Standards Organisation) standards. They are well built and very strong, with an exceptional life span. Ideal for short and long-term storage, they are very secure and weather tight units. Highly versatile, shipping containers can be converted for any number of applications including; offices, cabins, mess rooms, control rooms and changing rooms.
Containers are generally 8ft wide by 8ft 6 inches high and are generally 10ft, 20ft, 30ft and 40ft as standard. Different sizes can be made by modifying standard units into lengths such as 6ft, 8ft, 12ft and anything else in between.
Security
Constructed from high tensile steel the containers are built to be very strong and secure. Security can be compromised at the weakest point and we recommend the use of a lockbox and Thatcham approved high security padlock to prevent unauthorised access. Additional security features such as portable or wireless alarms can be installed for additional peace of mind.
Delivery
We use self-unloading vehicles for storage container delivery. Cranes can be arranged to offload containers into required position if vehicular access is a problem.
Storage containers are usually offloaded from the side of the lorry. The minimum width required for offloading is 20ft. Gates and entrances onto sites must be at least 9ft wide.
If you require loading or offloading of storage containers from a public highway, you will need to obtain necessary permits and take responsibility for any legal implications if offloading causes obstruction.
